Order of Nature is a new record label and production service starting
out from Wollongong that specialises in experimental beats, hip hop,
turntablism, electro, industrial noise, ambient, avant rock, jazz, loop
based work, improvisation, punk and field recordings.
Our goal is to inform and entertain an audience that is not satisfied
with the safe, repetitive, mainstream. But to nourish the masses with
new and exciting events and sounds.
In addition we offer a range of services that include production, djs,
events and art and design.
Our history has been committed to the last
11 years in the hip-hop, electronic scene. With the release of 2002s
AROGONAUTS album, (the first ever Wollongong hiphop-electronic compilation).
It featured some of the freshest new producers in the south coast. Absorb,
Sean Sheap, Slap 618, Dj Fury and others put their knowledge together
and love for hip hop to produce one of the best releases in Wollongong
of 2002.
