Public Officer William Henry is one of five children and has five children of his own. He was born and raised in Wollongong and is the grandson of the late Elizabeth (Dolly) Henry, who fought extensively for the rights of Aboriginal people of the Illawarra. William believes the success of the IAC is due to its experienced management committee and its strong, respectful foundations. He would like to see the expansion of the IAC’s existing services such as housing and aged care. William has recently completed Certificate IV Business Governance, Indigenous Organisational Training at the Illawarra Institute of TAFE.
