The Illawarra Aboriginal Corporation Cultural Centre and Keeping Place exists to implement our vision and mission of:

Preserving and strengthening Aboriginal culture.

Providing a public voice for Aboriginal people so that we can live in a society that recognises Aboriginal people as the first Australians. We are committed to a vision of a society that respects our culture, traditions and people, that honours our elders and shares the resources of Australia equally with people of all races.

Providing culturally appropriate services, facilities and opportunities to meet the social, cultural and economic needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the Illawarra region.

Engaging in the development of viable and sustainable business in order to reduce reliance on government funding. Exercise all the powers of an organisation to assist the Illawarra Aboriginal Corporation to achieve these objectives.

Assisting and supporting Aboriginal individuals and  families  by providing a range of services including :         

Housing and accommodation services
Employment, training and education
Health and well being (aged care)
Cultural services
Child Care Services
Family Support Services
Emergency Relief
