Director Dawn Bell was born in Sydney and grew up all over the South Coast, from LaPerouse, to the Victorian border. She is the oldest of seven brothers and four sisters, has three children and seven grandchildren. Dawn has been involved with the centre as a director and worker since it began and sees the future of the IAC as being one of the main Aboriginal Centres on the south coast, evolving from what the aunts, uncles, elders and friends of the past began. Dawn has completed Certificate IV in Business Governance, Indigenous Organisational Training at the Illawarra Institute of TAFE.
