Aunty mary davis
Chairperson Aunty Mary Davis was born in Casino and lived in Nambucca Heads before moving to Wollongong. She is one of four children and has five children of her own, eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Aunty Mary has a long-standing position as Chairperson and has been with the organisation since its conception. She believes the IAC has a strong board committed to the Illawarra Aboriginal Community and that both the board and the service it provides will continue to strengthen. Aunty Mary has recently completed Certificate IV in Business Governance, Indigenous Organisational Training at the Illawarra Institute of TAFE.
