The Illawarra Lapidary Club promotes the development of knowledge and skills in the craft of lapidary , collecting gemstones and mineral specimens, identifying these and processing them into jewellery and display items.

Anne Dwyer was taught watercolours by Mollie McCloskey in 1997 and has gained knowledge of oils from workshops and weekend schools taught by various established artists, including Joseph Zbuvic and Hermann Pekel.

Illawarra craft & arts network

Illawarra Crafts and arts network is a network of visual artists and craft people of varying interests and abilities. We meet monthly to support each other in our work and to plan regular exhibitions and markets. Monthly meetings are a casual affair with the opportunity to share experiences and opportunities over a cuppa and a bite to eat.
Membership is open to all adult artists and craftmakers who live in the Shellharbour, Kiama and Wollongong Local Government Areas.
Promoting and conducting exhibitions of the visual arts and to represent the cultural and social needs of professional, recreational and student painters throughout the community

The Coomaditchie United Aboriginal Corporation is an Aboriginal organisation dedicated to raising the esteem, pride and dignity of young Aboriginal people in their Aboriginal culture and heritage.

The Coomaditchie Artists' Co-operative is a vital part of our organisation, comprised of a group of Aboriginal people who love to paint and create artworks. We are East Coast Saltwater People and our work reflects the colours and images of our environment - the South Coast of New South Wales.

The Boolarng Nangamai Aboriginal Art and Culture studio is actively participating in a hands on approach to Reconciliation in our country. The studio is open to the public to observe Aboriginal Artists at work in their own environment. The studio showcases artwork for sale. A range of packaged bush tucker, handmade woven objects will also be available to purchase.
